all sounds come from the tape loop audible at the beginning of the recording, and from the tape recorder's circuitry as loops build and push it to break up.

the result is a subtle but ever-changing piece built upon patterns built and broken as frequencies collide amidst intense compression and noise. ghostly harmonies and melodies rise slowly from the sea of distortion and similarly fade away.
